A few weeks before Christmas I travelled to a farm to photograph Fi, Davo and their family in the last weeks of their third pregnancy. It was pretty hot, and an amazing storm was brewing. After we were out in the paddocks for a little bit, it was pretty clear that the storm was not longer brewing….it was right on top of us. There was lightning cracking all around us and thunder rumbling and then a heavy shower of rain! All of which resulted in such gorgeous light and perfect conditions….although there were a few worried looks from the boys….and I was a little nervous carrying huge lens made of metal while standing in an open field with lightning all around! During the storm the power went out in the house, so what better way to cool off and finish a session than with icy poles on the porch. What a wonderful gift to surprise your wife with Davo! I hope you all had a blast and I look forward to hearing your news!
