I’ve known Caleb since he was a little fellow and he’s always been going a million miles an hour. I thought I was going to spend this shoot on the run, but he surprised me and was a perfect little model for me! We still managed to get the cheeky Caleb grin though, that sums up just who he is! Thanks Megan for trusting me with capturing some memories for you to cherish.
Well Chelle may not be in this state anymore as little Frank arrived on Tuesday! Frankie, you are a very lucky boy to have been born into such a wonderful family. Love you guys, and loved my cuddles yesterday. xWhen Chelle was pregnant with Lenny, we asked my son (who was only 2 at the time), if he knew what was inside her tummy. His reply: biscuits! That little glance at the slightly bigger blue balloon must have been an omen!Run Lenny, run!!
Well another amazing wedding season comes to an end and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple or bridal party to spend it with. Thanks for a great day Alison and Matt, you really are such genuine people and such fun to be around! I loved how you included all the little people in your life in your day….and didn’t let it phase you one little bit when they didn’t always want to behave perfectly and “perform for the camera.” They were just being kids, and I loved that you let them be just that and didn’t insist on pushing for the “perfect” shot. Thanks also for taking it with a big smile when my favourite “sunset spot” was littered with the corpses of poor did roos! Not really the ideal setting for your wedding photos, but you soldiered on, and even managed to set up a little make shift party by the side of the road with your bridal party! Loved it! I wish you both the most wonderful future together. Now to relax for a few months, well on Saturday’s at least….I think I will be tied to my computer catching up before it all starts again….bring on September! 😉
As the days get shorter I love getting the chance to capture the sunset in wedding photos (and the sky is so conveniently coming to the party of late too! Yay)! I do always feel a bit guilty though as things have to work quickly for the 10 minutes or so that the sky pulls out all the stops, so I do tend to end up yelling orders like a crazy person! Sorry Janelle and Charlie….you were brilliant! Thanks also to your wonderful bridal party for so kindly watching the road (I was laying flat on my stomach just by the road side to get the angle I needed) so I didn’t get flattened! Much appreciated!! I wish you both all the happiness in the world as you settle into your lives in Kerang….the boots are going to look fantastic in the dairy Janelle and I hope you can cope with the weather, which will be a lot colder than what you are used to! Thank you for trusting me with your day.
I was really looking forward to spending the day with Danielle and Brent as we had already spent a wonderful afternoon together last year capturing their engagement photos. I already knew that these two would be relaxed and comfortable in front of my camera, and little direction would be needed from me….which is what I love…images that really capture the couple just being themselves and being relaxed together. Their bridal party were also lots of fun to spend the day with, and happy to relax with drinks in the billabong at Morrison’s whilst Dan and Brent had a few snaps taken. Danielle and Brent really had thought of everything too. Once the guests had enjoyed the ceremony they were able to relax at Morrison’s Winery and enjoy the games that were provided for them on the lawn, including croquet, bocce and giant noughts and crosses to name just a few. Thank so much for trusting me with such a special day. I wish you both the most wonderful lives together.
