I will never get tired of working with this gorgeous family…..I think this is our 6th shoot together now! I’ve loved watching Kell and Geoff’s life journey unfold. Newlyweds, newborns, new parents, new family members! It’s all been wonderful. It’s been a tough Summer for locations too with no rain meaning there is little greenery around….and I feel I’ve done long, dry grass to death! I was so glad when Kell was up for a little corner of my garden where the light hits my poor fallen down apple tree just right…and it provided Ava with a welcome distraction!
I was so excited to finally get my first wedding out at the newly reopened Perricoota Homestead….in it’s latest transformation as a fabulous wedding destination….and doubly excited because I was really looking forward to working with gorgeous (and talented make up artist) Bec and her hubby to be, Dane. I wasn’t disappointed….a little hot maybe (I think it was about 1,000 degrees!) but not disappointed! Everyone looked amazing and the location shone in the glorious afternoon light. It was very considerate (and a wonderful idea for other couples to consider too) of Bec and Dane to supply their guests with bottles of cold water for the ceremony as well….they went in seconds flat! Thank you for an amazing day. I am so happy you could trust me with it. I wish you both all the happiness and love in the world.
Kirsty and Scott were married at beautiful Deeluxe River Spa Apartments in a midday ceremony. Their two little girls were a perfect addition to their special day….so, so cute! We then flew out to Perricoota Woolshed for some bridal party photographs. Although time was limited….it really wasn’t hard with a couple this good looking! 😉 Thanks for choosing me to capture your special day.
I took Isobel’s parent’s wedding photos almost two years ago now so it was wonderful to get to spend some more time with them and with their gorgeous little girl, Isobel. She was just a little delight and posed and smiled perfectly for the camera before getting very sleepy and having a little snooze at the end of our shoot.
Although I am no longer offering newborn sessions I happy to capture your family at this stage of your babies life. Little Isobel is 11 weeks old in this session.
Another perfect day for Lisa and Rod’s big day, although the wind did play a little bit of havoc with the transportation. How did women in the 1920s go anywhere without getting those gorgeous hairdos all messed up?! There was also a slight hiccup before the service with the Groomsmen forgetting the one thing they should never forget, but once that was sorted very quickly it was all smooth sailing for Rod and Lisa’s nuptials. I was pretty excited about the location that Lisa and Rod had sourced for their photos but sometimes the best laid plans for photoshoot locations don’t always turn out the way the bride and groom had imagined….the spot we had worked out got altered at the last minute and the second spot was a little tricky to get to and maneuver around, but I think we made it work. And had lots of fun and laughs….go NINJA!! I’m pretty sure that this is going to be a requested move by many couples for years to come! Thanks for a wonderful day!
