Jacqui and Daniel

Fantastic weather, gorgeous location and and amazing couple….really what more can I ask more? Jacqui and Daniel kept their day very elegant and simple. They were married on the Echuca Wharf (cleverly in the one shaded area), then guests moved next door for the reception at Oscar Ws, whilst we wandered about the wharf and Port area taking a few snaps in the glorious afternoon light. What a perfect day! Thank you so much Jac and Daniel for entrusting it with me.

Sallie and Luke

Well, the skies were clear and bright blue in the morning, but by the time Sallie and Luke’s service rolled round, the clouds had rolled in with it and ominous spots of rain were beginning to fall. We were so, so lucky though and although it absolutely poured 5 minutes away in Daylesford, the only rain we got was driving from the Cidery to the photo shoot location! Sallie and Luke had sourced a gorgeous, old barn for their photos….which was also a little creepy. Will thought it would be fun to highlight that fact by scaring the bejezzus out of everyone….ok, well mainly myself and Sallie….almost had to change my clothes after that one, and I though Sallie was about to do a bolt! Don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard while working! Special thanks (through gritted teeth) to James from Turbo Productions for capturing the whole event so we can remember it forever! hahaha!! Thank you for a wonderful day Sallie and Luke. I had a blast and I know you’re marriage is going to be full of fun and laughter!A cute idea by Sallie to photograph the rings on the paper showing the date.Dad seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time….There’s a graceful, dainty, pretty way to run…..and then there’s Luke’s way!

Amy and Brad

Ever since I first sat down with Amy and Brad to talk about what they wanted for their big day, I knew our styles and ideas were going to gel perfectly and that I was going to get to photograph an amazingly well styled wedding…..and I wasn’t wrong!! It was nothing short of breath-taking from the vintage inspired floral print dress gowns the girls were wearing to the funky boys bowties. I was in heaven!! Amy had spent the year leading up to it scouring op shops for quirky, vintage pieces to adorn her reception tables and the end result was quite spectacular….apart from the pesky wind! Amy and Brad you both looked amazing and were such a lovely couple to spend the day with….and your little boys are just gorgeous and such a credit to you both. Thank you so much for choosing me to be your lucky photographer!

A—M—A—Z—I–N–G!!!! Their wedding plus your photography seriously the best match, you covered this wedding beautifully Tamara, Love them! And I love all the variety of shots.. How on earth will the couple choose?!

Kate, Chris (finally), Charlotte, Paddy and Chester

About once a year I get to photograph Kate and her beautiful family….however there is always someone missing at the last moment….her husband, Chris. Not this year though! I don’t know what you did to get him there but there he was, so well done!! (It didn’t hurt that much did it Chris….plus we made it at the beach!)

We also decided to take this opportunist to capture just some of images of Kate, where she feels most herself, most at home and most relaxed. Kate is a beautiful dancer and owns a chain of dance studios (Kate’s Dance House) and I really wanted to capture that part of her too and the grace, poise and beauty that goes with it….not so much the leaps and bounds and twirls, but the strength and courage and determination that have gotten Kate this far in her amazing business.

Jo, Mark, Maddie, Kyle and Bailey {♥}

15 months ago, when Bailey was first diagnosed with Cancer I took some photos of him and his gorgeous family ( ), now so far into his arduous journey I spent some more time with them all. We chatted and played and it was so wonderful to see the smiles and laughter when I am sure that life is not always so care free and simple. Those smiles and laughter were infectious, as the kids scrambled for catches and explored the sand dunes……while Jo and I had a wonderful catch up in the warmth of the car!   His bravery, and his families bravery and strength as a unit never fails to amaze and inspire me. Love and every wish, hope and prayer for the very best results for Bailey. xxxx

These are his treatment beads….each one represents a treatment, a step, a milestone occasion on his road to fighting cancer over the past 15 months. There were too many for me to count.
